RO14 Girls' Cuban Heel Ballet Character Shoes • Black
The So Danca RO14 Girls' Cuban Heel Character Shoes are a classic ballet school shoe designed for dancers progressing into higher-grade character work. With a supportive 1.5" Cuban heel, full suede sole and comfortable canvas upper, they provide the stability and control young dancers need as their character technique develops.
Ideal for graded ballet classes, character repertoire and examinations from Grade 3 upwards, the RO14 is the natural progression from a low-heel character shoe such as the RO12.
Designed for Progressing Character Dancers
As young dancers progress through their ballet training, character work begins to introduce a more defined heel. The RO14's 1.5" / approx. 3.8 cm Cuban heel gives the traditional character silhouette while its broader base provides reassuring stability beneath the foot.
The full soft suede sole gives dancers controlled contact with the studio floor for travelling steps, turns and traditional character movement. A moderate shank provides useful support while still allowing the foot to work naturally through relevé and movement.
The strong black canvas upper keeps the shoe lightweight and practical for regular dance school use, while cushioning through the upper and sole makes it comfortable for longer classes, rehearsals and examination days. A pre-sewn elastic strap holds the shoe securely across the instep.
Dance World Size Guide is intended as a helpful starting point. Every child's feet are unique, so fit may vary depending on foot shape, width and personal preference.
Moving up from a low-heel character shoe? The RO14 is the classic next step for dancers who have been asked by their school to progress into a Cuban heel. If you're unsure about the required heel or sizing, our Dance World team is always happy to help before you order.
